In 2005 we sold our home of 50 years at 116 N Michigan St to the St Joseph County Library. We moved out in the fall of 2005 and the Masons took up temporary residence with our brothers in Bremen and the Eastern Star moved to the Scottish Rite Building in South Bend for the interim. After a lengthy search we found suitable property on Mangus Drive and began the process of designing a building. A temple construction committee was formed and we attempted to complete this process on our own. After struggling for more that two years, we came to the conclusion that none of us, individually or collectively, had the expertise to carry out this exercise.

Our friend and brother Mason, Dave Hamman, stepped up and offered the services of his company, DC Construction Management LLC to see us through this project. Dave and Chris' knowledge of construction process finally moved our project to completion. Their expertise in the legal requirements and their excellent knowledge of construction process gave us a building that is pleasing to the sight and extremely functional. With our limited resources Dave and Chris made sure we received maximum value for our dollar. We are now at home at our new address and couldn't be more pleased with the results of DC Construction's management of our project. We are deeply indebted to Dave and Chris for their leadership and contribution to the completion of our project.
